At BAEK Beveiliging, we believe in the power of collaboration. Not only with our clients and partners, but also within our own team. To make that collaboration even stronger, we are proud to announce that BAEK Beveiliging is now an official Works Council has.
Why have a works council?
BAEK Security has grown strongly in recent years. With that growth come not only new opportunities, but also responsibilities. The establishment of a works council is an important step in ensuring transparency, promoting good communication, and guaranteeing a safe, inclusive working environment for everyone.
A Works Council offers employees the opportunity to contribute ideas and exert influence on decisions that directly affect their work and well-being. It is a bridge between management and the team, where the voice of every employee counts.
What does the works council do?
The works council has several responsibilities, including:
- Giving advice: For important decisions such as company strategy, investments or organisational changes, the works council provides reasoned advice.
- Granting consent: For matters that directly affect employees, such as employment conditions and work schedules, approval from the works council is required.
- Taking the initiative The Works Council can put forward topics itself that contribute to a better workplace or more efficient processes.
- Advocacy The Works Council is committed to the interests of all employees and contributes to a positive working environment.
Working together for success
At BAEK Beveiliging, we see the Works Council not just as a formal body, but as an essential part of our vision on collaboration. It is about listening to each other, sharing ideas and building together towards an organisation where everyone feels heard and valued.
The establishment of the works council is therefore more than a legal obligation. It is a confirmation of our core values: stability, security and direction. For a company that invests in the voice of its employees invests in a sustainable future.
How the works committee works
The Works Council consists of representatives from various departments within BAEK. These colleagues have been elected by and for employees. They will regularly engage in discussions with management to discuss the team's interests and jointly find solutions to challenges.
In addition, we invite all employees to share their ideas, concerns or suggestions with the Works Council. Together, we ensure that the Works Council can act not only reactively, but also proactively.
A step forward
With the establishment of the Works Council, we at BAEK Beveiliging are taking a new step in our commitment to engagement and professionalism. It is a step that makes our organisation stronger and unites our team even more.
We are proud of this milestone and look forward to working together with the Works Council on a future in which everyone feels heard. Together we are BAEK: a beacon of safety, stability and direction.
